Review: Forn tapas bar, Exeter

It’s been a while since I reviewed a restaurant; to be honest, we’ve been a bit stuck in a rut and haven’t ventured to any new places for a while.
So when the other half suggested taking me out for a payday treat, it seemed the perfect opportunity to break the routine.
But where to go? There are so many great places to eat in and around Exeter (if I had a pound for every time I’d thought “Ooh, we must go there…”).
After much umm-ing and aah-ing, I struck gold – a new tapas bar which has just opened in Mary Arches Street, and was featured in this month’s EX magazine.
Big fans of tapas (we like to reminisce about the time in Gran Canaria a few years ago when we ate our own bodyweight in the stuff), Forn looked like just the place; all dark wood, leather…
